Calibration Technician I
Job Description: As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for calibrating and maintaining pipettes and balances, ensuring they meet the highest standards of accuracy and performance. This is a hands-on role requiring you to travel to client locations across the Denver Metro area (approximately 75% travel), performing calibrations and repairs and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Calibrate, troubleshoot and repair customer equipment according to Aldinger standards and protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of calibration results and repairs using computer-based applications.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned, organized, and ready for use.
- Follow safety and quality standards during all calibrations and repairs.
- Work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required
- At least 1 year of experience in pipette calibration or a related field.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to keep accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time and priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Access to a reliable personal, insured vehicle and ability to travel within the Denver metro area 75% of the time.
Preferred
- Prior experience calibrating and troubleshooting balances and scales or other types of test and measurement equipment
- Familiarity with ISO 17025 and Laboratory Accreditation.
Calibration Technician Trainee
Job Description: Technician trainee is an entry-level position, requiring no prior experience. Trainees are expected to learn the skills and processes necessary to perform calibration work within the lab environment. This is a hands-on role requiring you to travel to client locations across the Denver Metro area (approximately 75% travel).
Primary Objectives:
- Learn fundamental calibration techniques and processes.
- Develop skills necessary to perform calibrations independently.
- Develop skills necessary to advance to the Calibration Technician I position within one year.

- Ability to learn new skills regarding calibration and calibration processes.
